The University is seeking four administrator and staff volunteers for the new UM Retirement Plans Review Committee. The committee, chaired by Nerissa Morris, vice president for human resources, is responsible for the oversight and design of the Employees’ Retirement Plan, the Faculty Retirement Plan, the Retirement Savings Plan, and the Supplemental Retirement Plan.

The UM Retirement Plans Review Committee makes recommendations to the senior vice president for business and finance and chief financial officer, and meets annually to review the plans. As this is a newly established committee, frequent meetings will be held during the spring 2013 semester.

Volunteers should have experience with or the willingness to learn about the University retirement plans. If you wish to be considered as a volunteer, please submit your resume to Cristina Elgarresta, assistant vice president for HR-Benefits, at [email protected] by Thursday, February 7. Those selected for membership will be notified by February 15. Your support is critical to the success of this committee.
